TRAINING CLASSES

Basic Obedience/Canine Good Citizen Class

This class is for dogs that are 6 months old or older. The goal of the class is for each dog to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test at the end of the 7-week session.

This 7-week session is $125 per dog.

Classes are open to EVERYONE!!

Basic Obedience/Canine Good Citizen Class

You do not need to be a member of the Clarksville Kennel Club to attend classes. Classes are open to ALL people and ALL dogs (purebred, mixed-breed, all-American). All classes are taught by club members who are experienced instructors. They also compete in a variety of venues with their dogs.

These are drop-in classes. Class dates will be announced at the beginning of each session and added to the calendar on this site. Click on EVENTS in the title bar at the top of each page.

Each class is $10 per dog.

CKC members are free.

2025 Class Registration

Registration for the August Basic Obedience Class is now OPEN.

Classes will begin on Monday, August 18th and end with Canine Good Citizen testing on Monday, October 6th.

Class will meet every Monday (except Labor Day) night at the Immaculate Conception School gym in Clarksville, TN.

Class is from 6:15pm-7:15pm each Monday. Pre-Registration is REQUIRED!

NEW s.t.a.r. puppy class

We are excited to announce a NEW CLASS to our line up!!

We are NOW offering S.T.A.R. Puppy Classes. This will be a 6-week class starting on Monday, August 18th and ending with the S.T.A.R. Puppy test on Monday, September 29th. The test is included with the class and those who pass can apply to AKC to have the title recorded on their dog's registered name (additional fee will be paid direct to AKC).
